I have been shocked to learn, during my Month of Sewing My Clothes, is that I have turned into an obsessive, nit-picking perfectionist. I mean it's no real shock to learn that I am, perhaps, a tad obsessive but the 'perfectionist' thing came out of left field.
An example: I finished sewing two skirts and duly crossed them off the list. Three days later I decided I didn't like the way the top of the zip was finished at the waistband (ie, something nobody will ever see) so I unpicked them and spent three hours remaking them. Is it any wonder things are not progressing quickly?!
Another time-suck: our estate agent will be carrying out an inspection here next week, so I've frantically cleaning the house. Now our house looks a lot more like this:
and less like the tip it devolves into when I'm obsessively sewing.
wow! well, quality over quantity is a noble pursuit, after all ;)
your lounge looks stunning!
